MONDAY: classes begin January 26th

4:30-5:30.... Broadway Bound Cabaret Kids....Ages 7-12 years old.... $325
Act, Sing, and Dance,Dance, Dance! This high energy, fun filled class allows beginning, intermediate and accelerated young performers to explore the world of Broadway! Explore different genres of musical songs and vocal expression!Explore all different styles of dance: hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, carido-funk, musical theatre, and more. Students will work on scenes and musical selections from Broadwy's most popular shows and will showcase their talents in a cabaret showcase. Songs will be fully choreographed and staged with costumes.


5:30-7:00.... THE BROADWAY BOUND ACT V FALL TEEN COMPANY
ages 13-17 years/grades 7-12.... $495
The Act V Company is an intensive 9 month ensemble training and performing program for accelerated theatre/acting students wishing to or currently working in professional theatre, film and/or T.V. The company members train in an MFA based curriculum of acting, movement, voice, and theatre aesthetics. The Teen Ensemble will focus on: acting technique, scene study, monologue work, voice, projection, Alexander Technique, movement, stage combat, introduction to classical acting, and more.

The Fall class meets once a week for 2 hours plus 2 Sunday all day rehearsals. ACT V Students are eligible to be selected for the teaching and mentoring summer camp positions.

Students receive a binder, shirt, cds, and one on one coaching in the course of the program.

Students will perform in a fall showcase and work towards a full scale production open to the public, casting directors, and Agencies in the Spring.

Students in the program will also be selected as needs fit for film/tv/commercial projects as well as external performing events and talent shows.

Teens wishing to be considered for the company MUST submit an audition tape, headshot, resume, two recommendation letters and a personal statement stating why they wish to be accepted into and train in the ACT V company. Previous theatre training is required.
